The user can grant access to their calendar to the colleagues (users from the Colleagues address book). Users with external email addresses cannot be granted access.
Calendars that you have accessed will appear on the Navigation bar of the Calendar section under , with the name of the calendar owner. You can connect or disconnect them by checking or unchecking the check box in the calendar line.
The following calendar access permissions can be provided:
•Read
•Edit
With edit access to a colleague's calendar, you can create an event on behalf of the calendar owner, and an event on the calendar to which you have access on your own behalf.
The calendar can be shared with all colleagues at once or with selected colleagues individually. Additionally, some colleagues can be granted both shared access for reading and individual access for editing.
To provide access to the calendar to colleagues, do the following: 1.Click the button that appears when you hold the cursor over the calendar line: 2.In the form that opens, click the hyperlink in the section. The access sharing form will open on the screen. 3.To provide shared access to the calendar, do the following: •In the section, select the desired access type value (,). •Toggle the slider on the right side of the line. A window will appear, requesting to confirm the permission to access. •Confirm the permission to access in the window by clicking. 4.To provide individual access to the calendar, do the following: •In the section, specify the names or email addresses of users who are granted access on individual terms. You can paste a list of addresses that was copied to the clipboard when viewing an email, event, or group of contacts. •Select the desired access type value () to the right of the selected addresses •Click in the lower right corner of the form. •If necessary, repeat the steps, giving the required type of permissions to other colleagues. 5.Click . After clicking , the system automatically checks the email addresses to which individual access to the calendar has been granted. If there are any external email addresses in the list: •A message will appear, indicating that access can only be granted to users registered in your email system. •External email addresses will be highlighted in red. To proceed, remove users with external mailbox addresses from the list. To delete all external addresses at once, click the link in the message and then click . As a result, the calendar will be available to the following users: •To all colleagues: Under the conditions specified in the section. •Also on individual terms to colleagues specified in the section. |
To terminate access permission to the calendar, repeat the access granting operation, specifying the necessary data (deleting the permission). |
