To enter text into a cell, place the cursor in the cell and start typing.
To add an image or shape to the cell, use the Image and Shape buttons on the Insert tab.
Entering text and numbers
When you enter text, the cell width remains unchanged. If the text does not fit on a single line, it is automatically moved and the cell height is increased.
Inserting images and shapes
When you insert an image or shape, the object is automatically scaled to the column width. If the height of the object exceeds the height of the cell, it will also be automatically scaled.
