You can move an image or shape on the page.

Move an image or shape with the mouse

1.Move the cursor over the object.

2.Click and drag the object to the desired location.

Move an image or shape using the keyboard

1.Select an object.

2.On the Home tab, in the Image, Shape, or Line group, click Wrap text and select any option except In line with text.

3.Use the arrow keys (←, ↑, ↓, →) to move. The default step is 1 pixel. Hold down the Shift key to move in 10 pixel increments.

Moving with the arrow keys is not available if the object is set to fairing In line with text. In this mode, the object is part of the text paragraph and is moved only as a character (using the Space or Backspace keys).
