How can we help you?

In MyOffice Text, you can use the bookmarks the same way you would use them when reading a paper book. Bookmarks allow you to quickly get back to the specific parts of your document. They can be added to text, tables and their elements (rows, column, cells), images, headers and footers.

Add a bookmark

To insert a bookmark into a document:

1.Place the cursor where you want to add a bookmark or select the element where you want to add it.

2.Insert a bookmark in one of the following ways:

In the Insert menu, select Bookmark.

On the Toolbar, select the Insert section and click t_more. In the insert pane that appears, click t_insert_bookmark Bookmark.

3.In the Bookmarks window, specify the bookmark title. Do not use the existing bookmark titles.

4.Click add_bookmark or press enter Enter. The bookmark will be added to the list.

5.Close the Bookmarks window. To do this, click Cancel or click close_dialog_window in the window title.

Display bookmarks

To display bookmarks in a document, display non-printable characters.

Show system bookmark

When you create a cross-reference to a heading or numbered list in a document, a system bookmark is automatically created. For example, if a cross-reference to Heading 1 is created, Heading 1 becomes a system bookmark. System bookmarks are marked in the document with non-printable characters similar to regular bookmarks: bookmark bookmark.

To see the entire list of system bookmarks, perform the following steps:

1.Open the Bookmarks window in one of the following ways:

In the Command menu, select Insert > Bookmark.

On the Toolbar, select the Insert section and click t_more. On the displayed insert pane, click the t_insert_bookmark Bookmark button.

2.In the Bookmarks window, check the Show system bookmarks box.

System bookmarks are displayed in the same list as manually set bookmarks. You can work with system bookmarks in the same way as with regular bookmarks.
