To enter or change data in a table cell, follow the steps below:

1.Switch to cell editing mode in one of the following ways:

To enter data into an empty cell, select it with a single or double click.

To edit the data in a cell, double-click to select it.

To overwrite the data in a cell, select the cell with a single click.

2.Enter or edit the data in the cell.

3.To exit cell can edit mode, click anywhere in the document outside the table.

To quickly delete data in a cell, column, row, or the entire table:

1.Select the desired table element or the entire table.

2.On the Home tab, in the Edit group, click t_edit_delete Delete.

When you type text and numbers into a cell, its width remains unchanged. The data is moved to the next row within the current cell, and the cell height may be automatically increased.

When you insert an image into the table, it is automatically scaled to the column width, and the cell height may change if the image is larger than the cell height.

You can move between table cells using ←, ↑, ↓, → keys on the keyboard.
