Styles allow you to quickly apply the same formatting to different parts of the text throughout the document, for example, use styles to format the headings of different levels or links. MyOffice Text allows you to use the preset styles, as well as the custom styles for text formatting.

Style selection

The Normal style is used by default whenever you create a new document. You can change the text style using the Toolbar or the Quick Actions box.

To change the style using the Toolbar, follow these steps:

1.Specify the text you want to change a style of:

To change the style for a single paragraph, place the cursor in it or select the whole paragraph.

To change the style of multiple paragraphs, select these paragraphs entirely.

2.On the Toolbar, in the Styles section, select the style that you want to use from the list. Or click the t_more button and select the style from the drop-down list.

To change the style using the Quick Actions box:

1.Specify the text you want to change a style of:

To change the style for a single paragraph, place the cursor in it or select the whole paragraph.

To change the style of multiple paragraphs, select these paragraphs entirely.

2.In the Command menu, select Help > Quick Action box or press Ctrl+/.

3.In the Quick Actions box, select the desired style using one of the following methods:

Start typing the name of the style in the search field. When the desired style is displayed in the search results, left-click the style line or select the style line using the ↓ and ↑ keyboard keys and press Enter.

Scroll down the list of commands till the end. In the style section, select your preferred style.

Create a style

MyOffice Text allows you to create a style based on the formatting of the selected text or the text where the cursor is placed. The new style is created with the preset name “Style 1”, “Style 2”, and so on.

To create a new style, follow these steps:

1.Apply the required formatting to a word or text fragment.

2.Select the word or fragment or place the cursor on it.

3.On the Toolbar, in the Styles section, click t_more.

4.At the bottom of the drop-down list, click Create New Style.

The newly created style will appear in a drop-down list.

Edit a style

You can change the formatting options for any style manually.

To change the style, follow these steps:

1.Select a fragment of text where the style has been applied.

2.Make the necessary formatting changes.

3.On the Toolbar, in the Styles section, click t_more.

4.In the drop-down list, place the cursor on the current style name and click t_style_refresh Update Style to Match Selection.

The changes you make to a style are automatically applied to all text fragments where it is applied.

Delete a style

You can only delete the custom styles.

To delete a style, follow these steps:

1.Select a fragment of text where the style has been applied.

2.On the Toolbar, in the Styles section, click t_more.

3.In the drop-down list, hover over the name of this style and click t_style_delete Delete Style.

Once the style is deleted, the Normal style settings are applied to all text fragments formatted in the custom style.
