Delete a comment or reply

The comment is deleted along with the replies to it.

To quickly delete a comment, hover your mouse over it and click  Delete in the upper-right corner of the comment.

You can also follow the steps below to delete a comment:

1.Select a comment in one of the following ways:

•Click the comment or any reply to it.

•Go to the comment using the  Previous and  Next buttons located on the Review tab.

•If the cursor is set on the Review pane, navigate to the comment using the ↓ and ↑ keyboard keys.

2.Delete the comment in one of the following ways:

•On the Review tab, click  Delete comment or click the arrow to the right of the  Delete comment button and run the Delete comment command.

•In the upper-right corner of the comment, click  Delete.

To delete a comment, you can also switch to its editing mode as described in the Edit a comment or reply section, completely delete the comment text and click Save or click anywhere in the document.

To delete all comments in the document, on the Review tab, click the arrow to the right of the  Delete comment button and run the Delete all comments command.

To delete a reply, follow these steps:

1.Hover the mouse cursor over the reply or select the thread with the answer in one of the following ways:

•Click anywhere in the thread.

•Go to the thread using the  Next and  Previous buttons located in the Review tab.

•If the cursor is set in the Review pane, navigate to the thread using the ↓ and ↑ keyboard keys.

2.In the upper-right corner of the required reply, click  Delete.
