How can we help you?

Smart tables are a range of cells combined into a single object. It has its own name, internal structure (areas) and formatting style.

Each such table has a name unique within the document (by default — "Table1", "Table2", etc.) and consists of the following areas:

heading bar;

data area;

summary row.

Functionality

Header editing: column names can be changed.

Adding data: new rows and columns can be inserted between existing rows and columns.

Copying: smart tables can be copied within a single document or between open documents. The copy gets a unique name and the links in it are automatically adapted.

Sorting and filtering: automatically created filters are present in the column headers to manage the data.

Appearance customization: you can change the design style from the collection, as well as enable or disable the display of table areas.

Expansion: the table range is automatically expanded when new data is added to adjacent cells.

Totals: in the last row you can select the type of calculation (sum, average, etc.).

Convert: the smart table can be converted back to a normal range.
