The size of rows and columns of the sheet can be changed with the mouse or set to exact values.
The height of a row cannot be set less than the minimum height required to display the entire contents of its cells.
Quickly resize a column or row
1.Move the cursor over the border between row or column headings (the cursor will change to a bidirectional arrow

2.Hold down the left mouse button and drag the border.
Set the exact size for columns or rows
1.Select the cells, row, or column.
2.Open the Cell size dialog box in one of the following ways:
•On the Home tab, in the Cells group, click Cell size.
•Right-click the row or column header and choose Row Height or Column Width from the context menu.
3.Enter the desired values in the Width or Height fields.
Automatic matching
To automatically match the width or height to the longest or tallest content in a row or column, use one of the methods:
–Double-click the separator between the row or column headers.
–In the Cell size window, select the Adjust automatically check box.
–Right-click the header and select Adjust width/height automatically.
