When you open a file in .xml format, a document is created with a table on the first sheet containing data from the file. The table is given a name in the TableN format, for example, “Table1” and the default layout style is applied. All the features of tables are available for the created spreadsheet.
The following restrictions apply to files in .xml format:
–Only XML 1.0 files are processed.
–The XML file association is not provided.
–Schemas referenced by the XML file are not processed.
–The maximum number of columns in a file is 16,384.
–The maximum number of rows in a file is 1,048,576.
