To save a new file or create a copy of the file you are working on, do the following: 1.Execute the Save command in one of the following ways: •In the File menu, click Save As. •On the Toolbar, select the File section and click the arrow to the right of the •Press F12 (in Microsoft Windows OS) or Ctrl+Shift+S (in Linux OS). 2.In the Save as window, select a folder to save the file to, specify the name and file format, and click Save. When you create a copy, the copy of the file becomes the document that you will be working on. |
To avoid data loss due to power failure or other system malfunction, it is recommended to save changes regularly.
