In the text editor, you can create and edit lines.
To add a line, follow these steps:
1.In the text editor, you can create and edit lines.
•In the Command menu, select > > .
•On the Toolbar, click the button. In the insert pane that appears, hover the mouse cursor over the button.
2.In the sub-menu that opens, select the type of line to insert: line, arrow, double-sided arrow. The cursor will take the form of a crosshair .
3.If needed, select the type of line tips.
4.Add a line in one of the following ways:
•Left-click where you want the line to begin. A 4.24 cm long line with a 45° tilt angle will be added to the document.
•Hold down the left mouse button and draw a line in the desired place of the document. To finish drawing, release the left mouse button.
5.If needed, edit the length and angle of the line.
By default, the line is inserted before the text, but its position can be changed manually.
To change the length or angle of the line, follow these steps: 1.Select the line. 2.Move the cursor over the beginning or the end marker of the line so that the cursor looks like . 3.Hold down the left mouse button and drag the marker to the desired location. 4.Release the left mouse button. If necessary, you can stop moving the marker by pressing . The marker will return to its original position. |
You can select the type of tips for the beginning and end of the line. The selection can be made both before you start drawing a line and when editing the line. To select the type of tips, follow these steps: 1.On the Toolbar, in the section, click . 2.In the drop-down list, select the type of left or right tip. If you want to remove the previously selected tips, select type for the left and/or right tip in the first line of the drop-down list. 3.Click again to close the drop-down list. |
To select line color, follow these steps: 1.Select the line. 2.On the Toolbar, in the section, click the arrow to the right of the button. 3.In the color selection pane that opens, specify the color of the line in one of the following ways: •Choose a color from one of the presented color sets. •Specify the color code manually. To select the line weight and type, follow these steps: 1.Select the line. 2.On the Toolbar, in the section, click the arrow to the right of the button. 3.In the field, specify the desired line weight manually or using the switch button. 4.Select the line type from the preset values. If needed, you can reset the line style settings. To do this, follow these steps: 1.Select the line. 2.On the Toolbar, in the section, click the arrow to the right of the button. 3.On the color selection pane, click . |
