You can add a link to a web page or an email address to the document.

MyOffice Spreadsheet recognizes and makes active links that start with www, http, https, ftp, as well as email addresses.

Examples of the links:

www.website.ru

https://website.com

http://website.ru

ftp://192.100.0.0

mailto:user@domain.ru

user.name@domain.com

To avoid errors when clicking on links, it is recommended to specify the protocol before the URL. For example: http://website.ru.

Insert a link

The link can be displayed in the document as follows:

URL: For example, http://www.website.ru.

Text: For example, link.

To add a link to a document as URL, follow these steps:

1.Copy the link from the source.

2.Switch to the edit mode of the cell where you want to insert the link.

3.Paste the link and press Space or enterEnter key on the keyboard.

To add a text link to a document, follow these steps:

1.Copy the link from the source.

2.Specify the place to insert the link in one of the following ways:

To format all text in a cell as a link, select the cell.

To format a single word within text in a cell, place the cursor in the word or select the whole word.

To format some part of the text in a cell, select that part of the text entirely.

To insert a word with a link or text into an empty cell, select the cell or place the cursor in it.

3.Execute the link insertion command in one of the following ways:

In the Сommand menu, select Insert > Link.

On the Toolbar, in the Insert section, click t_more. In the insert pane that appears, click t_insert_hyperlink Link.

Right-click to open the context menu and run the Insert Link context menu command.

Press the commandCmd+K.

4.In the Insert Link window:

If the URL field it is not filled in, insert a link into it. By default the link copied during the first step is automatically inserted into the URL field.

If the Text field if it is not filled in, enter the text that will be displayed in place of the link URL. By default, the Text field is automatically filled with text from the selected cell or text selected in the cell or the word where the cursor is positioned.

Click OK.

Go to the link

To follow the link, click it while holding down the commandCmd.

Web links open in the browser that is used in the operating system by default.

When you click on the link to the email address, the mail program opens, which is used by default in the operating system. In this program, a new email is automatically created, and the To field is filled with the email address specified in the link.

Copy the link

To copy a link, right-click it and execute the Copy Link URL context menu command.

Edit a link

To edit the URL and link text, follow these steps:

1.Specify the link to edit:

If the cell contains only the desired link, select the cell or switch to cell editing mode and then place the cursor on the link or select the link partially or entirely.

If the cell contains more than just a link, switch to cell editing mode and place the cursor on the link or select the link partially or entirely.

2.Open the link editing window in one of the following ways:

In the Сommand menu, select Insert > Link.

On the Toolbar, in the Insert section, click t_more. In the insert pane that appears, click t_insert_hyperlink Link.

Right-click the selected cell and execute the Edit Link context menu command.

Press the commandCmd+K.

3.In the Edit Link window:

In the URL field, edit the URL of the link.

In the Text field, edit the text that is displayed instead of the link URL.

Click OK.

Delete a link

You can delete a link using the editing window or the context menu. The link is deleted without the text that contains it.

To delete a link using the editing window, follow the steps below:

1.Specify the link that you want to delete:

If the cell contains only the desired link, select the cell or switch to cell editing mode and then place the cursor on the link or select the link partially or entirely.

If the cell contains more than just the desired link, switch to cell editing mode and place the cursor on the link or select the link partially or entirely.

2.Open the edit link window in one of the following ways:

In the Command menu, select Insert > Link.

On the Toolbar, in the Insert section, click t_more. In the insert pane that appears, click t_insert_hyperlink Link.

Right-click to open the context menu and run the Edit Link command.

Press command Cmd+K.

3.In the Insert Link window, do one of the following:

In the URL field, delete the URL of the link.

Click delete_hyperlink.

4.Click OK.

To delete a link using the context menu, follow these steps:

1.Specify the link to delete as described above.

2.Right-click to open the context menu and select Remove Link.

To delete multiple links at once, follow these steps:

1.Select the cells that contain these references.

2.Right-click to open the context menu and select Remove Links.

If you want to delete a link together with the text that contains it, proceed as follows:

1.Specify the link that you want to delete:

If a cell contains only a reference, select that cell or go into cell edit mode and select the entire reference.

If the cell contains more than just the reference, go to the cell edit mode and select the entire reference.

2.Press Delete on the keyboard.
