Objects (text box, image, shape) on a slide can be grouped together to manage them as a unit. Unlike multiple selection, grouping persists until you ungroup.
What can be grouped
–Individual objects.
–Individual objects and existing groups.
–Multiple groups of objects.
1.Select objects and groups on the slide. 2.Use one of the following methods: •On the Home tab, in the Arrange group, click •From the context menu, select Group. •Press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+G (Cmd+G). A frame will appear around the grouped objects. |

To select a group of objects, click on any object within the group. A selection frame will be displayed around the group. The boundaries of individual objects within the group will not be displayed. Available actions with the selected group |
To select an individual object in a group without ungrouping it: 1.Select the group. 2.Click the object you want to select. Its own frame appears around it. To perform the operation on the keyboard, hold down Ctrl (Cmd) and press the arrow keys. After selecting an individual object, you can edit or delete it without affecting other objects in the group. |
