In MyOffice Documents, multiple users can work on the same file or folder simultaneously. Owners of the file or folder can provide the permissions to view, edit, or manage their files and folders to other users. The owner and the user with the right to manage the file or folder can modify the access permissions provided by other users.
Files or folders available to the user are displayed in the and folder in the Navigation bar.

Shared access permissions can be provided for an individual file or for a folder. The access permissions apply to: •All files in a folder •All sub-folders •All files in all sub-folders The owner and the user with the permission to manage the element can change the access level to any sub-folders and any files in the shared folder. Users can get either more permissions (instead of ), or less permissions (instead of ). |
Users with access permissions can: •View shared folders •Open shared files for preview •Open shared documents for viewing in the editor •Download shared files to their own computer •Copy shared files and folders •Convert files to MyOffice internal format from preview mode •Send shared folders by mail (if there is integration with the mail system) •Copy internal link to a file/folder •Send internal link to a file/folder by mail (if integrated with the mail system) •Mark a file as important •View information about a folder/file •Print the file •Search for a file/folder in the list using the search field •Cancel own access to shared documents and folders MyOffice software does not allow saving, moving, copying, downloading items into a folder with the permission to view, folders and sub-folders of the , as well as to , , and sections. MyOffice will prompt you to select a suitable folder or will save the item toby default. |
Users with access permissions have the same permissions as the users with access permissions and the following permissions: •Upload files/folders to a shared folder. •Edit files and folders of a shared folder. •Rename the shared folder/file (if the user has the permission to edit or manage the parent folder). •Delete files and folders in the shared folder (if the user has permissions or the parent folder). •View the version log of the document. •Create new versions of the document. •Delete, restore, rename document versions. •Save versions of the document as a new document. •Create items within folders to which editing access has been given. •Move items both within folders to which editing access has been granted and to personal, public, or accessible folders. •Give up access to shared files and folders.
