MyOffice applications use the XO (eXtended Office fonts) font family. This font pack includes the fonts similar to the most commonly used fonts.

Font

The font used by default is displayed on the Toolbar. In the drop-down list of available fonts the default font is marked as choose_blue.

To set the font type, do the following:

1.Select the text.

2.Select the font list in one of the following ways:

Click Format > Text > Font and select the desired font from the drop-down list.

Click the button with the name of the current font on the Toolbar. If the window size does not allow to display the whole Toolbar, the button will take a compact form: font_small_knpk.

3.Select the desired font.

 

You can select the font type before entering the text. The selected font type will be applied to the text entered after where the cursor is positioned.

Font size

The current font size is displayed on the Toolbar. In the drop‑down list of available sizes, the current font size is marked as choose_blue.

You can select the font size before entering the text. The selected font size will be applied to the text entered after where the cursor is positioned.

To set the font size, do the following:

1.Select the desired text.

2.Set the font size in one of the following ways:

Click Format > Text > Font size and select the desired size from the drop-down list.

On the Toolbar, select the box containing the current font size and select the desired size.

To increase or decrease the font size by one point relative to the set size:

1.Select the desired text.

2.Change the font size in one of the following ways:

Click Format > Text > Increase font size or Decrease font size.

On the Toolbar, click knpk_font_size . If the window size does not allow the entire Toolbar to be displayed, the commands will be available by clicking the by clicking more More on the Toolbar.

Use keyboard shortcuts: Ctrl+Shift+, (command Cmd+shift Shift+,) to decrease the font size and Ctrl+Shift+. (command Cmd+shift Shift+.) to increase the font size.

Paragraph style

MyOffice Text uses preset font styles which can be applied to distinguish various parts of the text, such as headings, notes, headers and footers.

The current style is displayed on the Toolbar and in the drop-down list of available styles where it is marked as choose_blue.

You can select the text style before entering the text. The selected text style will be applied to the text entered after where the cursor is positioned.

To set a paragraph style, do the following:

1.Position the cursor in the desired paragraph or select multiple paragraphs.

2.Select the paragraph style in one of the following ways:

Click Format > Paragraph style and select the desired style from the drop-down list.

On the Toolbar, click the box containing with the name of the current style. If the browser window is minimized, this font title box can be displayed in the compact mode as knpk_paragraph_settings_comact_view .

3.Select the desired style from the drop-down list.

 

Text formatting

In MyOffice Text, you can format text fragments to make them stand out from the rest of the text. You can select several formatting settings for an element (except subscripts and superscripts where one settings invalidates the other in case you want to apply several settings).

You can select the text formatting before entering the text. The selected formatting will be applied to the text entered after where the cursor is positioned.

To set the formatting, do the following:

1.Select the desired text.

2.Set the formatting in one of the following ways:

Click Format > Text and select the desired formatting from the drop-down list.

Use theknpk_font_style buttons on the Toolbar.

Use the key combinations.

Changing to uppercase letters does not affect the display of numbers, punctuation marks, and other characters.

Re-selecting the All Caps command will return the lower case letters.

Letters that were previously entered with the Caps Lock key pressed will not be affected when you change back to lowercase.

Font color

The font is set to black when the file is created. In the Toolbar, the color change button displays a color in which the user can quickly color a font without having to select it from the palette:

Red "p_xo_list_bullet" style="">The last color used: After a color has been used.

User-created "p_xo_text">You can set the color before you start entering text: after selecting the desired color, the text to be entered after the cursor will be displayed in the selected color.

To change the color of the text, do the following:

1.Select the desired text.

2.Select the desired color in one of the following ways:

Click the button_text_colour Font color button on the Toolbar to select the last color used or the default color.

Click the arrow to the right of the button_text_colour Font color button on the Toolbar and select the color from the palette.

In the Command menu, select Format > Color > Font color and select the color from the palette.

In the color palette window, the current text color is checked. The upper part of the palette displays the last used colors. At the bottom of the palette window are the custom colors you created earlier.

To set your own color, proceed with the following:

1.Click К_Другие цвета in the lower part of the palette.

2.Adjust the color settings in the window that appears: enter the HEX code of the color or choose it yourself:

The color tone is selected on a horizontal scale. Left-click the color scale or hold down the left mouse button on the scale and move the cursor.

The color shade is selected with the marker. Left-click the color field or hold down the left mouse button and move the marker.

3.Click OK to apply the selected color. Or click Cancel to leave without saving the changes.

The newly created color will be displayed in the More colors section.

Highlight color

When you work on a file, you can apply a color to the individual sections of the text to make them more prominent against the rest of the document's content. When you create a file, no highlight color is applied. In the Toolbar, the color change button displays a color in which the user can quickly color a font without having to select it from the palette:

To change the text highlight color, do the following:

1.Select the desired text.

2.Select the text highlight color in one of the following ways:

Click button_highlight_colour Highlight color on the Toolbar to select the last used color or the default color.

Click the arrow to the right of the button_highlight_colour Highlight color button on the Toolbar and select the color from the palette.

In the Command menu, select Format > Color > Highlight color and select the color from the palette.

If the text where the cursor is placed is highlighted in color, the current color of the text selection in the color palette window is checked. The upper part of the palette displays the last used colors.

To delete the text highlight, do the following:

1.Select the text for which you want to remove the highlight.

2.Open the text highlight palette in one of the following ways:

Click the arrow to the right of the button_highlight_colour Highlight color button on the Toolbar.

In the Command menu, select Format > Color > Highlight color.

3.In the opened palette, select No color.
