Adjustable alignments, intervals, and indents are used to organize text according to your preferences. Use these options to visually separate the text according to your goals.
By default, some parameters are already set when you create a document. Parameters can be changed when you create a document before you start entering text or while working with the existing document.
You can set the margins and paragraph indents in the document using the rulers.
Horizontal alignment
With the help of alignment, you can determine the position of edges at text paragraphs. Alignment can only be applied to a paragraph, that is to the part of the text which appears when the ( ) key is pressed and up to the place when the Enter ( Return) key is pressed again. Four alignment options are available in MyOffice Text:

To align the text, proceed with the following:
1.Place the cursor in the desired paragraph, or select multiple paragraphs if necessary.
2.Set the alignment in one of the following ways:
•Click> and select the alignment style you want to use.
•On the Toolbar, click .
•Use the keyboard shortcuts shown in the table above.
Vertical alignment
Vertical alignment is only applied to the table content. The commands on the are available when a table element is selected.

To align the content in a table vertically, follow the steps below:
1.Place the cursor in the desired paragraph, or select multiple paragraphs if necessary.
2.Set the alignment in one of the following ways:
•Select > .
•On the Toolbar, click the buttons.
Line spacing is the vertical space between the lines. The default spacing for all text is 1.15 and it is applied to the entire paragraph. You can set the line spacing before entering the text. The text entered after the place where the cursor is positioned will be displayed with the line spacing according to your preferences.
Preset line spacings To set the space between lines of text: 1.Position the cursor in the desired paragraph, or select multiple paragraphs. 2.Set the line spacing in one of the following ways: •Click > > and select the value you want to apply. •On the Toolbar, click and select the value you want to apply. Custom line spacings To set your own line spacings, do the following: 1.Place the cursor in the desired paragraph, or select multiple paragraphs. 2.Open the window where you can set the parameters of the line spacing in one of the following ways: •Click > > and select the value you want to apply. •On the Toolbar, click and select the line spacing. 3.In the opened window, select the line spacing value you want to apply: • The line spacing which increases or decreases depending on the set value. • A fixed interval which creates the same intervals between all lines of the paragraph (defined in points). • The interval for matching large font sizes or images for which other intervals are not suitable (specified in points). 4.In the same window, set the value manually or using the buttons. If the line spacing from the list of presets is set for the selected text, the button on the Toolbar will look accordingly.
If the selected text has different line spacing for different paragraphs, the button will look like . If the selected text has different line spacing than the preset one, the button on the Toolbar will look like . |
In MyOffice Text, you can set the distance between characters to compress or stretch the text. When you create a file, the spacing is set by default. You can the character spacings before entering the text. The text entered after the place where the cursor is positioned will be displayed with the character spacing according to your preferences.
To set the character spacing, do the following: 1.Select the desired text. 2.Set the character spacing in one of the following ways: •Click > > . •On the Toolbar, click the button and select the character spacing in the lower part of the list. |
Individual indent settings can be set for any paragraph in the text. No indent settings are specified when creating a file. You can the paragraph spacings before entering the text. The text entered after the place where the cursor is positioned will be displayed with the paragraph spacing according to your preferences.
To change the paragraph settings, do the following: 1.Place the cursor in the desired paragraph, or select multiple paragraphs. 2.On the Toolbar, click . 3.In the window that appears, set the desired indent values or use the and next to each item. The values of spacing before and after paragraphs are set in points and can be negative. 4.Changes made are automatically saved. To hide the settings window, press or on your keyboard or click anywhere in the document. Paragraph indents can be set using the and commands. Using the command once decreases or increases the indent by 1.25 cm. This change is reflected in the paragraph settings window. To increase or decrease the paragraph indent, do the following: 1.Place the cursor to the desired paragraph or select multiple paragraphs. 2.Increase or decrease the paragraph indent in one of the following ways: •Click > > or . •On the Toolbar, click the or buttons. |
