In MyOffice Text you can copy the formatting from one part of a document to another. The formatting copied can be applied to one or multiple elements of a document.

The formatting copied to the clipboard is available for pasting in the MyOffice Spreadsheet application.

Formatting basics

Depending on the object that is selected, you can paste formatting to:

Cells

The table below contains the patterns used to copy and paste formatting:

Copy and paste formatting

To copy and paste formatting you can use the following tools:

Command menu options

Shortcut keys

The t_edit_copy_formatting Copy Formatting button on the Toolbar.

To copy the formatting using the Command menu or a key combination:

1.Select the part of the document you want to copy the formatting from (see the Formatting basics section).

2.Copy the formatting using one of the following methods:

In the Command menu, click Edit > Copy Formatting.

Press Ctrl+Shift+C.

3.To apply the formatting to one part of the document, do the following:

Select the part of the document you want to copy the formatting from (see the Formatting basics section).

In the Command menu, click Edit > Copy Formatting or press Ctrl+Shift+V.

4.To apply the formatting to multiple elements in the document, select these elements one by one and apply the formatting as described above.

To format one element of a document using the t_edit_copy_formatting Copy Formatting button:

1.Select the part of the document you want to copy the formatting from (see the Formatting basics section).

2.On the Toolbar, select the Edit section and click t_edit_copy_formatting Copy Formatting button.

3.Select the part of the document you want to copy the formatting to (see the Formatting basics section).

To format multiple elements of a document using the t_edit_copy_formatting Copy Formatting button:

1.Select the part of the document you want to copy the formatting from (see the Formatting basics section).

2.On the Toolbar, select the Edit section and double-click t_edit_copy_formatting Copy Formatting. The button will change to t_edit_multiple_copy_formatting.

3.Format the desired parts of the document one by one as described in the section above.

 

To exit the multiple elements formatting mode, use one of the following steps:

On the Toolbar, select the Edit section and click t_edit_multiple_copy_formatting. The button will change to t_edit_copy_formatting.

Press Esc.

Format painter history

The formatting copied to the clipboard is saved in history and can be used later.

To open history with previously copied formatting items, follow the steps below:

1.On the Toolbar, select the Edit section and click the arrow to the right of the t_edit_copy_formatting Copy Formatting button.

2.In the list with previously copied formatting items that expands, select the one you want. The objects are arranged in such a way that the top of the list represents the object of the last copied formatting.

3.Select the part of the document you want to apply the formatting to as described in the section above.
