The main window of MyOffice Presentation contains the following main areas:
•Command menu
•Control bar
•Navigation bar
•Toolbar
•Workspace
•Status bar
•Sidebar
The following application notifications may be displayed above the Control bar:
•A notification that there are updates to the application that have occurred in the past 14 calendar days. You can learn more about them by clicking the hyperlink on the notification. The release notes will open in a new web browser tab. The notification does not prevent you from using the application and will be displayed for 14 calendar days from the date of system update until the user reads the changes or closes the notification by clicking on it.
•A notification of system settings changed by MyOffice administrator while the user is working in the application. Refresh the current web browser page to ensure the correct functioning. If you try to access an operation for which settings have been changed by the administrator without refreshing the web browser page, an error message will appear on the screen. After refreshing the page, users will be able to continue working in MyOffice software.
The Control bar and contains the following buttons and elements: •button: Allows to provide access to the menu where you can select the application that you want to use and to the main navigation page. •MyOffice Presentation application logo •Current file name and extension. • or button:Allows to add or delete the opened presentation to or from the favorites. The file marked as favorite is duplicated in the folder in MyOffice Documents. • button: Allows to launch the full-screen slide show. • button: Allows to open a form to provide shared access to other users. • button: Allows to display the help materials and open a window with information on the version of the application.Allows to display the help materials, a file with description of the new features of the application, a window with information on the version of the application, and the hyperlink (displayed if a mail client is connected and a support service mail address was specified by the system administrator in the MyOffice Private Cloud settings). The button may contain the indicator informing that there are updates to the application. The indication will be displayed for 14 calendar days from the date of system update until the user checks the information about the changes. •User profile picture with user initials or photo. If the mail system is connected and the support service mail address was specified by the system administrator in the MyOffice Private Cloud settings, clicking the in a new tab of the web browser will open a window intended for sending a message to the support service. In the opened form, enter the subject of the message, describe the problem/suggestion and click . |
The Toolbar contains formatting tools for working with text, tables, images, and shapes. The tools are displayed depending on the selected slide content. The size of the Toolbar varies depending on the size of the web browser window. If the window size does not allow you to display the entire Toolbar, some of the tools will be hidden. Hidden tools are displayed by clicking the button on the Toolbar. |
The Navigation bar is located on the left side of the web browser window. It contains the button and thumbnails of slides included in the presentation with their numbers, which are assigned automatically by the application. You can open or hide the Navigation bar in one of the following ways: •In the Command menu, select > . •Move the cursor to the right edge of the Navigation bar marked with . When the cursor changes to a bidirectional arrow, left click it. The width of the Navigation bar can be modified. Follow these steps: 1.Place the cursor to the right edge of the Navigation bar marked with . 2.When the cursor changes to a bidirectional arrow, hold down the left mouse button and move the edge of the Navigation bar to the left or to the right to decrease or increase the width. When reduced to its minimum size, the Navigation bar is hidden. To display the Navigation bar, increase its width or use one of the methods described above. As the width of the Navigation bar changes, the size of the slide thumbnails changes proportionally. The slide currently displayed in the workspace is highlighted in the Navigation bar with a color and a bright frame. When you click anywhere in the workspace, the color of the frame around the slide in the Navigation bar becomes less bright. Use the mouse wheel or scroll bar to move between slides. To select a slide, left-click or right-click on it in the Navigation bar. The selected slide will be displayed in the workspace. Clicking a slide with the right mouse button opens a context menu that contains the following commands: • The selected slide is placed to the clipboard of the operating system and deleted from the presentation. • The selected slide is placed to the clipboard of the operating system, while the slide itself remains in the presentation and does not change. • The content from the operating system's clipboard is placed in the specified place of the presentation. To paste via the context menu, give the browser permission to access the clipboard. • Paste text from the operating system's clipboard without the original formatting into the specified place in the presentation. To paste via the context menu, give your browser permission to access the clipboard. • Add a new slide where the context menu was opened (before the slide when you click in the upper half of the slide area or after the slide when you click in the lower half of the slide area). • Duplicate the selected slide and place the copy after the selected slide. • Delete the selected slide. • Make the selected slide the first slide of the presentation. • Place the selected file above the previous slide of the presentation. •Place the selected file after the next slide of the presentation. • Make the selected slide the last slide of the presentation. |
The workspace contains the slide selected in the Navigation bar. When you delete all slides from your presentation (this can be done by the owner or the user with the permission), the workspace contains no slides and displays the button allowing to create a new slide. If you try to open a presentation that is protected by a password, you will be warned to delete the password and to upload the document again. |
In presentation editing mode, the button on the Sidebar opens the properties tab of the open document (internal format documents only). The Sidebar may contain avatars of co-authors (users working simultaneously on the active document) if the presentation is open by shared users. File info tab To see the information about the file, click on the Sidebar. Or go to the Command menu and select > . This tab displays the following information: •File location and a hyperlink to go to the document storage (the folder where the document is located). •File size. •The date of creation and the name of the author of the file/folder. When you hover the cursor over the username, a pop-up window will appear with additional information about the user and to view detailed information about this user in the MyOffice Contacts application (when integrated with MyOffice Mail). •The date of the last modification of the file/folder and the name of the user who made the edits last. When you hover the cursor over the username, a pop-up window will appear with additional information about the user and to view detailed information about this user in the MyOffice Contacts application (when integrated with MyOffice Mail). •Access permission type (only for files that had been shared with the user by other users). • (for the document owner) or (for users who have been granted access permissions) hyperlink. •A list of users and groups that with access permissions and information about the access permission type. If the user is a member of an access group, a tooltip is displayed next to the group name. Hover over the user's avatar or username to view more information about the user. If necessary, click in the pop-up window to view the contact information in MyOffice Contacts in a new tab of the web browser (when integrated with MyOffice Mail). |
The Status bar contains information about the active slide number, the total number of slides in the presentation, the information about the status of the current changes in the document, and the scale of the presentation slides. Also, the Status bar displays the tools for adjusting the zoom. |
