Application: Files Web version

The application provides the possibility for multiple users to work with the same document or folder at the same time.

The owner of the object can grant access to other users to view, edit, comment, or manage their documents and folders.

The access rights to files or folders provided by other users can be modified by the owner and by the user with the rights to manage the file or folder.

The objects that the user has access to are displayed in the Shared and Common folders.

The following types of access permissions can be granted for files and folders:

Manage

Edit

Comment

View

Access denied

Scope of access permissions

Shared access permissions can be granted either to a separate file or to a folder.

Folder access permissions apply to:

All files in the folder

All sub-folders

All files in all sub-folders

The owner and the user with management rights can change the level of access rights to objects within the shared folder. The change may be in the direction of more permissions (for example, Edit instead of View) and in the direction of less permissions (for example, View instead of Manage).

MyOffice software does not provide for saving, moving, copying, or uploading objects to a folder with the permission to view, to folders and sub-folders in the Trash section, as well as to the Shared, Common folders, Flagged,Watched and Recent section. The user will be prompted to select a valid folder, otherwise the object will be saved in the My files default section.
