A template is a copy of a document with saved formatting.
Use templates when you need to reduce the time required to create multiple documents of the same type with minor differences. For example, application forms, schedules, or reports.
Document template formats:
–XOTT is a text document template opened in the MyText editor.
–XOTS is a spreadsheet document template that can be opened in the MySpreadsheet editor.
–XOTP is a presentation template that can be opened in the MyPresentation.
Document templates can be uploaded to MyFiles from an external source in the same way as other file types.
You can create templates in the respective editor using the Save as template command.
Open the template for editing
To open the template file, select Open in the context menu. In a new browser tab, the template file will open in the respective editor for editing. Further actions with the open file are performed in the editor.
Create a file from a template
To create a new file from a template, use one of the following methods:
–Click on the template file.
–Select Create from template from the context menu.
The created file with a name similar to the template will open in a new browser tab and will be automatically saved in the current folder of the document storage.
