1.Select one or more elements in the list by clicking their icons.

2.Use one of the copying methods:

On the Toolbar, click button_more More > menu_copy Create a Copy.

Right-click the element and select Create a Copy in the context menu.

3.In the dialog box that appears, select the folder to which the selected file or folder will be copied. If necessary, create a new folder in which the element will be placed:

Select a folder from the list to create a new folder and click Create new folder at the bottom of the dialog box.

In the window that opens, specify the name of the new folder and click OK. The created folder will be displayed as a sub‑folder in the specified folder.

In the dialog box, select the location of the copy of the selected element.

4.Click Create a Copy.

You can also copy the element by holding down the Ctrl/Cmd button and dragging the element to the desired location with the left mouse button: inside the file tree, in the left file tree, in the left file tree, from the left file tree.

As a result of copying an element, the following will happen:

If you have successfully copied files or folders, they will appear in the folder selected as the folder where the copy should be located. The element that you copy remains unchanged in the original folder. If the selected folder already contains an element with the name of the copied element, a dialog box appears with options depending on the type of element.

knpk_un_ac Recent operations button in the Toolbar becomes active.

The recent operations list will display the information about the operation (successful or unsuccessful).

Actions with matching file names

If the file or folder names match, the following actions are available:

Skip: Canceling copying of an element with the same name.

Keep both: Saving the copied item with a new name (a numeric index is added to the name of the item, for example, New document (2)).

Replace: Replacing the content of an existing file with the content of the copied file (available for files only). As a result of the replacement, a new version of the file will be created, the previous versions of the replaced file will remain in the Version History, the sharing settings and public links to the file being replaced will continue to be active. A file opened in the editor cannot be replaced. When replacing it, the Recent operations Sidebar will display the corresponding error.

Please note that canceling the Replace operation is impossible.

To apply the selected action to all copied elements with matching names, select the Apply to all check box in the dialog box. The Replace command can only be applied to files.
