If you are certain that you have entered the correct user name and password to connect to your email account, you will probably need to enable IMAP protocol access.

Yandex.Mail:
To connect a Yandex.Mail account, you will have to enable IMAP protocol access in the full version of your email account. To do that, click Settings (the gear icon) > All settings > Email clients. Under the "Use a mail client to retrieve your Yandex mail", tick the "From the imap.yandex.com server via IMAP" box.

If you have 2FA enabled for your Yandex.Mail account, log into your account and go to Account > Account Management > Enable App Passwords. Follow the instructions provided to create a password for the MyOffice Mail app. When you are connecting your email account to MyOffice Mail, enter the password you have created instead of the usual password for your email account.

Gmail:
To connect a Gmail account, make sure that IMAP protocol access is enabled for third-party apps. To do that, go to Settings > See all settings > Forwarding and POP/IMAP > IMAP access > Enable IMAP.

MyOffice apps are currently being verified for compliance with Google's terms for the access of third-party apps to the Gmail infrastructure. While the verification process is underway, in order to connect your Gmail account to MyOffice Mail, go to Manage your Google account > Untrustworthy apps that have access to your account > Enable access. Once you've done that:

  • Open the MyOffice Mail app;
  • Choose Add an account > Other;
  • Enter your Gmail address and password;
  • Click the gear icon in the top right corner;
  • Enter the server settings according to Step 2 (link: https://support.google.com/mail/answer/7126229?hl=ru)
  • If you see a message that says that you have entered an incorrect password, check the Security section of your Google account: your login attempt might have been blocked because you attempted to log in from an unfamiliar device. To check this, go to Manage your Google account > Security > Recent security activity > Review security events Find the blocked login attempt and indicate that it was you.

If your Google account has 2FA enabled, to connect to your Gmail account, you will need to create an app password using these instructions https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/185833?hl=ru&ctx=ch_b%2F0%2FDisplayUnlockCaptcha and enter that password in the Password line instead of your usual Gmail password.

For other services, find IMAP access in your account settings and enable it.
