To add a new slide into a presentation, do one of the following: •On the Slide menu, select New slide. •On the Toolbar, click •On the context menu of the Navigation bar, select New slide. •Click New slide on the Navigation bar or the button to the right of the New slide button. In the opened menu, select the template of a new slide or create a new slide, if needed. •On the Insert menu, select Slide. In the menu that opens, select the new slide template (or create an empty slide, if necessary). •Click New slide on the workspace (available if all slides in the presentation are deleted). When you create a new slide using the context menu command that you execute from the Navigation bar, a new slide will be created depending on where you click the mouse button: •In the beginning of the presentation if you click at the top of the first slide. •Between slides, that is, after a slide where you opened the context menu by clicking the lower part of the slide, and before a slide where you opened the context menu by clicking the upper half of the slide. •In the end of the presentation if you click the lower part of the last slide. The slide inserted using the context menu becomes the slide you will be working on. |
Instead of creating a new slide from an empty template, it may be more convenient to duplicate a slide already existing in your presentation. To duplicate a slide, do the following: 1.In the Navigation bar, select the slide you want to duplicate. 2.Duplicate the slide in one of the following ways: •In the Command menu, select Slide > Duplicate. •Right-click the slide thumbnail on the Navigation bar, go to the context menu and click Duplicate. |
To cut a slide with all the elements on it from the presentation, do the following: 1.On the Navigation bar, select the slide that you want to cut. 2.Do one of the following: •On the Edit menu, select Cut. •On the Toolbar, click •On the Navigation bar, click the slide thumbnail to open the context menu and select Cut. •Press Ctrl+X ( As a result, the entire slide with all the elements inside it will be put to the clipboard of the operating system and deleted from the presentation. |
Instead of creating a new slide, it may be more convenient to copy and paste an existing slide in your presentation. To make a copy of a slide: 1.On the Navigation bar, select the slide that you want to copy. 2.Copy the slide in one of the following ways: •On the Edit menu, select Copy. •On the Toolbar, click •On the Navigation bar, click the slide thumbnail to open the context menu and select Copy. •Press Ctrl+C ( The current version of the web application only allows you to copy slides within an open presentation. Copying slides between different presentations will be available in future releases.
When copying, the entire selected slide with all the elements inside it is placed on the clipboard of the operating system, while the slide being copied remains in the presentation and does not change. |
To perform the Paste operation, the slide to be inserted must be on the clipboard of the operating system, that is, it must have been previously copied or cut from the current presentation. You can insert a slide from the clipboard in one of the following ways: •In the Command menu, select Edit > Paste. •On the Toolbar, click •On the Navigation bar, open the context menu and select Paste. To paste via the context menu, give the browser permission to access the clipboard. •Press Ctrl+V ( The Safari web browser below version 13.1 does not support contextual menu insertion. The Mozilla Firefox web browser does not support pasting via context menu and keyboard shortcuts.
When pasting, the entire slide with all elements inside it from the operating system's clipboard is pasted after the slide selected in the Navigation bar. When you paste a slide using the context menu command on the Navigation bar, a new slide will be inserted depending on where you click: •After the slide selected in the Navigation bar on which the context menu was opened. •To a specified place: When calling the context menu between slides or after all slides. |
To delete a slide, do one of the following: •Select the slide and choose Slide > Delete in the Command menu •Right-click the slide thumbnail in the Navigation bar and select Delete from the context menu |
1.In the Navigation bar, click the slide with the left mouse button. 2.Drag the slide to the desired position within the Navigation bar and release the mouse button. You can also change the order of slides by selecting the Slide command in the Command menu or the context menu by selecting a slide in the Navigation bar: •Move to beginning: Put the slide in the beginning of the presentation. •Move up: Move the slide up. •Move down: Move the slide down. •Move to end: Move the slide to the end of the presentation. |
By default, when you create a slide, it has no color. You can fill the slide with any color or image. To work with the slide fill, use the •Burgundy: Set by default. •Last used "p_xo_list_bullet" style="">•User-created "p_xo_text">The current color of the slide is checked in the color palette window. The color palette is divided into several sections: •No fill button that allows to remove the fill from the selected slide. •Recent colors section that contains the recently used colors. •Theme colors section that contains the color palette of the current slide. •More colors section that contains the user-created colors and a button to add new colors that are not available on the palette. •Image section that contains the image used as a background of the selected slide as well as the button to add or modify the images. Fill a slide with color 1.In the Navigation bar, select the slide whose color you want to change. 2.To fill a slide with the last color used or the default color, click 3.To fill a slide with another color, click the arrow to the right of •Select the desired color in the Recent colors section. •Select the desired color in the Theme colors section. •Click Fill a slide with image 1.On the Navigation bar, select the slide you want to fill with an image. 2.Click the arrow to the right of the 3.In the Image section: •To replace the image that is already set as the background, click the Replace button. •To set the image as the background in the form without any background, click the Browse button. 4.In the file manager window, select the desired image and click Open. Remove the fill 1.On the Navigation bar, select the slide you want to remove the fill of. 2.Click the arrow to the right of the 3.In the opened window, click the No fill button at the top of the color palette. |
