The elements on the slide can be grouped together and managed as a whole. Unlike multiple selection, the elements remain grouped until the user executes the ungroup command.

On the slide, you can group the following elements:

Individual elements

Individual elements and groups of elements

Several groups of elements

Grouping placeholders and tables is not possible.

Group elements

To group elements and groups, follow these steps:

1.Select the elements or groups.

2.Run the grouping command in one of the following ways:

In the Command menu, select Format > Arrange > Group.

On the Toolbar, select Arrange, and in the drop-down menu, run the Group command.

Right-click on the selected elements to open the context menu and run the Group command.

Press Ctrl+G (commandCmd+G) on the keyboard.

Grouped elements/groups of elements will have a common frame.

 

Ungroup elements

To ungroup one or more groups of elements, follow these steps:

1.Select the desired elements or groups.

2.Run the ungroup command in one of the following ways:

In the Command menu, select Format > Arrange > Ungroup.

On the Toolbar, select Arrange, and in the drop-down menu, run the Group command.

Right-click on the selected elements to open the context menu and run the Ungroup command.

Press Shift+Ctrl+G (shiftShift+commandCmd+G) on the keyboard.

The frame that unites the elements will be deleted.
