New rows are inserted above or below the selected row.

To add new rows, follow these steps:

1.Select the row after or before which you want to insert a new row. If you want to insert more than one row, select as many rows as you want to insert in the table. For example, if you want to insert two rows, select two rows. You can select both whole rows and individual cells or ranges of cells.

2.Add rows in one of the following ways:

In the Command menu, select Format > Table > Insert Row Above / Insert Row Below.

On the Toolbar, select the Table section and click editor_insert_row_icon Insert Row Above or editor_insert_row_below_icon Insert Row Below.

Right-click anywhere in the selected range. In the context menu, select Insert Row Above / Insert Row Below.

Press alt Option+A to insert a row above or press alt Option+B to insert a row below.

To quickly add a row to the beginning or end of a table, follow these steps:

1.Select the table.

2.Toadd a row at the beginning of the table, execute the Insert Row Above command in one of the ways described above. Toadd a row at the end of the table, execute the Insert Row Below command in one of the ways described above.
