In MyOffice Board multiple users can work simultaneously on the whiteboard. The file Owner can grant other users access to their files and folders.
The default limit is 50 users.
The following types of access permissions may be provided to documents: View, Edit, Manage and Access denied.
Both the owner and the user with the Manage permission can change the permissions granted to other users to an element.
When multiple users collaborate on a file, MyOffice Board displays the following:
•Avatars of co-authors are displayed in the top part of the whiteboard. When a user holds the cursor over the co-author's avatar, their user name is displayed.
•A cursor of the same color as the co-author's avatar is displayed on the whiteboard.
•When a co-author performs editing, the other co-authors synchronously see the changes on the whiteboard.
In the View mode, the whiteboard can be opened: •By users with the permission to View. •By users with the Open documents in the view mode profile setting. •If the limit of users working together on the whiteboard is exceeded.
If the limit of users working together on the whiteboard is exceeded, the corresponding banner will be displayed. In the View mode, users are limited in their actions. The following functions are not available: •Toolbar •List of active users •View where a user is currently working (cursors position) •Edit the whiteboard in real time •Comment To hide the information banner, click the Changes made by other users on the whiteboard are checked every two minutes. The user will be notified about the changes with the respective banner.

In the Edit mode, the whiteboard can be opened by the file owner, as well as by users with the Edit or Manage permissions. Available actions in Edit mode: •Make changes to the whiteboard. •See the actions of other users working on the whiteboard.
To enter the edit mode, make sure that the number of users is not exceeded. To do this, refresh the page by clicking Refresh page or any other preferred way. If the space becomes available, the whiteboard will open in edit mode. |
