The user can grant access to their calendar to users from the Colleagues address book. It is not possible to grant access to users with email addresses of external mailboxes.
After you have access to another user's calendar, you can create an event on behalf of the owner of this calendar or create an event on your own behalf in the calendar that is provided for editing.
Calendars that have been accessed by other users for the active user are displayed with the name of the calendar owner in the Shared with me section of theNavigation bar. The calendars are connected and disconnected by checking/unchecking the check box in their line.
General and individual access to the calendar can be provided simultaneously, provided that users are granted different rights. If the public access rights and the access rights for individual users are the same, the access rights will be combined.
To provide access to the calendar to colleagues, do the following: 1.Click the button that appears when you hover over the calendar line: 2.In the form that opens, click the hyperlink in the field. The access sharing form will open on the screen. 3.To provide shared access to the calendar, do the following: •In the section, select the desired access type value (,). •Toggle the slider on the right side of the line. •Confirm the granting of access in the window that opens by clicking. 4.To provide individual access to the calendar, do the following: •In the section, specify the names or email addresses of users who are granted access on individual terms. You can paste a list of addresses that was copied to the clipboard when viewing an email, event, or group of contacts. •Select the desired access type value () to the right of the selected addresses •Click . •If necessary, repeat the steps, giving the required type of permissions to other colleagues. 5.Click . During the operation, the email addresses of users who are granted individual access to the calendar are automatically checked. If there are users in the list with the email addresses of external mailboxes, the following will happen: •You will see a warning about the inability to provide access to external users with a suggestion to exclude such users from the list. •The email addresses of the external mailboxes will be highlighted in red. To continue, remove users with external mailbox email addresses from the list and click. As a result of the operation, the calendar will be available to all users on the terms specified in the section, as well as to selected users on individual terms specified in the section. |
To terminate access permission to the calendar, repeat the access granting operation, specifying the necessary data (deleting the permission). |
