In MyOffice Text user can apply preset text formatting to format headings, notes, headers and footers, or other elements.
The current style is displayed on the Toolbar and is indicated with in the drop-down list of styles.
To change the style, follow these steps:
1.Move the cursor to the desired paragraph or select several paragraphs if necessary.
2.Open the list of styles using one of the following methods:
•In the Command menu, select Format > Paragraph style.
•Click the button with the name of the current style on the Toolbar. If the window size does not allow the entire Toolbar to be displayed, the button will be shown in the compact form: .
3.Select the desired style from the list.
You can create your own style based on formatting the selected text. The number of such styles is unlimited. A new style is created with the preset name "Style 1", "Style 2", etc. When you hold the cursor over the style name, a hint with the font size and type will appear.
To create a new style, follow these steps:
1.Apply the desired formatting to a word or piece of text.
2.Select a word or piece of text.
3.Create a style using one of the following methods:
•In the Command menu, select Format > Paragraph style > Create new style.
•Click the button with the name of the style on the Toolbar, then select Create new style.
•Select Create new style from the context menu.
To edit the created style, follow these steps:
1.Select the text to which the desired style has been applied.
2.Change the formatting as needed.
3.Save the style changes using one of the following methods:
•In the Command menu, select Format > Paragraph style, then select the current style from the list and click Update style to match selection.
•Click the button with the name of the style on the Toolbar, then select the current style from the list and click Update style to match selection.
To delete a created style, follow these steps:
1.Select the text to which the desired style has been applied.
2.Delete the style using one of the following methods:
•In the Command menu, select Format > Paragraph style, then select the current style from the list and click Delete style.
•Сlick the button with the name of the style on the Toolbar, then select the current style from the list and click Delete style.
3. In the warning window, confirm that you want to delete the style.
All created styles can be deleted in one of the following ways:
•In the Command menu, select Format > Paragraph style > Style settings > Delete all created styles, then confirm the deletion in the warning window .
•Click the button with the style name on the Toolbar, select Style settings > Delete all created styles, then confirm the deletion in the warning window.
After deleting a style, the Normal style is automatically applied to all text formatted in this style.
