The Sidebar contains the following buttons:

side_panel_search Find and replace: Open the Find and replace pane.

side_panel_styles  Text styles and numbered headings: Open the pane for working with text styles and numbered headings.

side_panel_recovered_files Recovered files: Open the document backups pane. The button is displayed if there is at least one unsaved copy.

side_panel_header Header settings or side_panel_footer Footer settings: Open the header and footer settings pane. The button is displayed when the footer or footer is selected.

side_panel_macro Macros: Open the Macros pane. The button is displayed if the file contains at least one macro.

 

If a document is open in the cloud, the Sidebar displays avatars of co-authors who are working on that document with you at the same time.
