To insert a shape to a document, do the following:
1.Select the place where you want to insert the shape on the sheet.
2.On the Insert tab, click
Shape. When working in macOS, you can also run the Insert > Shape command from the command menu.
3.In the opened sub-menu, select the shape you want to insert.
You can add text or a link to a shape as follows:
1.Double-click the shape to enter the shape editing mode.
2.Add text or a link to the shape:
•Enter the text manually. You can format the text in the shape the same way as you would format the text in your document.
•Insert a link as described in the Links section.
3.Click anywhere on the sheet outside the shape to leave the editing mode.
