How can we help you?

The Folder Pane settings menu allows you to change the view mode of the Folder Pane. The mode you choose determines how folders are organized and displayed (without affecting the folders themselves or the messages that exist in them).

To customize the Folder Pane view:

1.On the Mail tab, at the top of the Folder Pane, click the button .... The context menu of Folder Pane settings will be opened.

psn-ug-folders-view

2.In the Folder Modes menu, enable one or more blocks that will be displayed on the Folder Pane:

All Folders: all folders of each account (default view).

Unified Folders: in this box, messages in all your accounts are organized into single standard folders, for example, the Inbox folder will contain messages from all your Inbox folders located in all your accounts.

Unread Folders: This box shows only those accounts and folders that contain unread messages.

Favorite Folders: This box shows only those folders that you have marked as favorites. You can make a folder a favorite by selecting Favorite Folder from the context menu of the desired folder.

Recent Folders: this box shows all folders that have been accessed in the last 15 days.

Tags: This box shows tags, so you can see the taged messages from all accounts.

Compact View: in this mode, folders in some blocks, such as Favorites, are displayed in a simplified view.

3.If you need to, enable one or more options in the Folder Pane settings menu:

Show "Get Messages": enable the psn-ug-interface-folders-icon-get-messages Get Messages button in the Folder Pane. By left-clicking this button, you can manually start downloading new messages for all accounts. By right-clicking this button, you can open a context menu to select the desired account.

Show "New Message": in the Folder Pane, click the New Message button. It allows you to quickly open the window for creating a new message.

Show Total Message Count: enable in the row of each folder a counter of the total number of messages stored in the folder, including read and unread.

Show Folder Size: Enable a count of the size of the folder's contents in each folder row.

Hide Local Folders: hide folders that are local, i.e. store data only on your device (for example, archive folders that are not synchronized with the server).

Hide Folder Pane Header: Hide the top header of the Folder Pane where the psn-ug-interface-folders-icon-get-messages, New Message, and ... buttons are displayed.

You can enable or disable the Folder Pane header by selecting View > Folders > Folder Pane Header in the ☰ MyOffice Mail menu.

After you make changes in the Folder Pane settings menu, they are applied automatically, so you can see the result immediately.
