Address Book tab

The Address Book tab is shown below.

Opening

–Main Menu > Tools > Address Book.

–Spaces Toolbar > Button .

Elements

–New Address Book button: create a local address book. CardDAV and LDAP address book can be added via the context menu.

–New Contact button: create a contact in the address book.

–New List button: create a mailing list in the address book.

–Import button: import an address book file.

Address Book Pane elements

–All Address Books: contacts from all address books.

–Personal Address Book: local address book

–Global Address Book: LDAP address book.

Address book context menu

–Properties: change the properties of the address book.

–Synchronize: synchronize the connected address book with the server.

–Print: print the address book contact data.

–Export: export the address book.

–Remove: delete the address book.

–Default directory when open: select the default address book.

Contact List elements

–Search field : filter the Contact List by the entered query.

–Button : customize the display of the Contact List.

–<contact> or <mailing list> : view contact details.

Contact List context menu

–Write: compose a message to a contact.

–Edit: modify the contact details.

–Print: print the contact details.

–Delete: delete contacts.
