Edit address book

The ability to edit address book properties depends on the type of address book and the server or directory settings.

To change address book properties:

1.On the Address Book tab, from the address book context menu, select Properties. The address book properties window will open.

2.If a local address book was selected, edit the Address Book Name.

3.If a CardDAV address book was selected, define the parameters:

•Address Book Name: displayed name of the address book.

•CardDAV URL: URL or network name of the address book server.

•Synchronize: checkbox to enable synchronization at selected time periods.

•Read-only: checkbox to disable the ability to add and edit contacts in the address book on any local devices (but not on the server). This can help prevent conflicts if you work with multiple devices or users accessing the same address book.

4.If you selected Global Address Book or another LDAP address book, change the server connection and offline settings.

5.Click the OK button.
