To create a new task, do one of the following:

Select the Menu Bar item Events and Tasks > New Task.

Select the Menu Bar item Events and Tasks > Calendar. In the calendar that opens, select a day, open the context menu and select New Task.

On the Toolbar, click the menu call button calendar_menu_btn MyOffice Mail menu, and in the menu that appears, select New > Task.

Press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+D.

Choose one of the ways to create a task on the event pane.

to create a task based on an event, select an event in the calendar, open the context menu for the event and select Convert To > Task.

To create a task based on a message, select a message from the list, open the context menu, select Convert To > Task.

The task creation dialog pane will be displayed on the screen.

Calendar

Task name

Task location

Task time reminder settings

Deadline for completing the task

Task status

Task repetition rate

Description of the task

Setting up task privacy

To configure the privacy of the task, do one of the following:

Select a menu item Settings > Privacy

Click the event_security_btn

In the list that appears, select the type of privacy based on the following options:

Public Event

Show Time and Date Only

Private Event

Adding an attachment to a task

To add an attachment to the task, click event_attachment_btn. In the system dialog that opens, select the file. Once selected, it will be displayed in the Attachments pane.

To attach a web page to a task, select the menu item Options > Attach > Webpage. In the dialog that opens, enter the address of the web page, it will be displayed in the Attachments pane.

Task priority

To set the task priority, select Settings > Priority. In the opened list, select one of the options:

Low

Normal

High
