Delete a shape

To delete a shape, follow these steps:

  1. Select the shape. If you want to select a shape that is in Behind text position, hover your mouse over it and click the editor_select_text_behind_icon button that appears.
  2. Delete it in one of the following ways:
    • On the Home tab, in the Edit group, click t_edit_delete Delete.
    • Open the context menu by right-clicking and run the Delete command.
    • Press Backspace or Delete.

If the position of the shape is In line with text, you can delete it as text.
