Insert an equation

To insert an equation, follow these steps:

1. Place your cursor where you want to insert the equation.
2. On the Insert tab, click  Equation.
3. In the Equation window, in the LaTeX expression box, enter the equation in the LaTeX markup language. You can preview the equation in the Preview box.
4. Click OK.

tip

The current version does not support displaying formulas created in Microsoft Word 2003 and 2007.
