Unprotect spreadsheet structure

If the spreadsheet structure is protected from editing, the icon appears to the right of the sheet tabs. To remove the protection, you may need to enter a password.

To unprotect the spreadsheet structure, follow these steps:

1. On the Protection tab, click  Unprotect structure.

2. In the Manage protection pane, on the Spreadsheet structure tab:

   • If the spreadsheet structure is password protected, enter the password and click Unprotect.
   • If the spreadsheet structure is not password protected, click Unprotect.

3. To close the Manage protection pane, do one of the following:

   • At the top of the pane, click .
   • On the Sidebar, click  Manage protection.
