Change chart type

You can change the type of the originally inserted chart to a different one in one of the following ways:

  • Using the settings pane.
  • Using the Toolbar.
  • Using the chart context menu.

To change the chart type using the settings pane, follow these steps:

  1. Open the chart settings pane on the Sidebar.
  2. On the Settings tab, in the Type box, select the required type from the drop-down list.

To change the chart type using the settings pane, follow these steps:

  1. Select the chart.

  2. On the Home tab, in the Chart group, click the button corresponding to the chart type:

    • t_chart_column : Column chart
    • t_chart_bar : Bar chart
    • t_chart_pie : Pie chart
    • t_chart_line : Line chart
    • t_chart_area : Area chart

  3. Select the required type from the drop-down menu.

To change the chart type using the context menu, follow the steps below:

  1. Select the chart.
  2. Right-click the chart and select Change chart type > <Chart type name> > <Chart subtype> command from the context menu.
