Hide or display an element
MySpreadsheet allows you to hide or show the following chart elements:
- Axis
- Chart name
- Axes names
- Gridlines
- Legend
- Data labels
You can hide or display an element in several ways:
- Using the chart settings pane.
- Using the chart context menu.
To hide or display an element using the settings pane, follow the steps below:
- Open the settings for the desired element on the Sidebar.
- Depending on the element type, do the following:
- For axes, legend, data labels: Clear or select the checkbox for the Display option.
- For gridlines: Select the checkbox for the desired line type.
- For chart and axis names: Select the desired element from the Element drop-down list and delete the name in the Text field.
To hide or display an element using the chart context menu, right-click the chart and select Chart elements > Element type from the context menu.
