Install on Linux

Prerequisites​

Prior to installation, please ensure that:

  • Your hardware and software meet the system requirements.
  • The software installer for the current version of MyOffice software with the extension *.rpm or *.deb is located in a local folder on your computer.
  • A GUI software package manager for RPM or DEB packages, such as Synaptic, is installed on your computer.

During installation, the application interface language is defined by the main OS interface language.

Installation and update​

An example of how to install software on Alt OS 10 is provided below.

To install or update software on Linux, do the following:

  1. Double-click to run the software installer. The installation window opens.
  2. Click Install. The authorization window opens.
  3. Enter the administrator password and click OK.
  4. After installing all the software components, click Exit.

Verify successful installation​

The software is considered successfully installed if, as a result of its installation:

  • The OS application menu displays shortcuts to all applications included in the software.
  • When you click the shortcuts to run the software, the corresponding applications from the suite are opened correctly without displaying any error messages.
