Set up a notification channel

On the Notifications tab, you can configure the types and channels to receive notifications:

  • MyFiles
  • Email (when integrated with the mail client);

The email notification is available only for individual users and is not available for groups.

  • MySquadus (if integrated)

Events about which notifications are received:

  • Request for file access permissions or to upgrade it. The notification is sent to the selected channel by email and/or MySquadus.
  • Granting or changing file access permissions: The notification is sent to the selected channel by email and/or MySquadus.
  • File changes: Notifications are sent to the file manager Notificationon the Toolbar, as well as to the selected Emailand/or MySquaduschannel.

The changes in the file include:

  • Edit
  • Comment
  • Rename
  • Move
  • Replace
  • Delete

Auto-save information is collected every 10 minutes and sent in a notification for several changes made during a given time period.

  • Mentioning the user in the comments in the file. The notification is sent to the selected channel: Email and/or MySquadus.

If needed, turn the Subscribe to notifications switch to the inactive position and click Save to disable auto-subscription to file change notifications.
