Insert current date and time

You can insert the current date or time into the main body of the document.

Insert the current date or time​

  1. Set the cursor at the desired location.
  2. To insert the current date, press Ctrl+; (Cmd+;).
  3. To insert the current time, press Ctrl+Shift+; (Cmd+Shift+;).

You can also use the Date or Time tools on the Insert tab.
