Resize cells, rows, colums

You can change the size of table cells, rows, and columns using the mouse or by setting exact values.

Quickly resize a row or column​

  1. Move the cursor to the border between rows or columns. The cursor will change to a double-headed arrow.
  2. Hold down the left mouse button and drag the border.

Set exact cell sizes​

  1. Select a cell, a range of cells, or the entire table.
  2. On the Home tab, in the Table group, click the Cell size button.
  3. In the Cell size window, set values for Width and Height manually or using the arrow buttons.
