Spell checking

The app includes spell check and grammar check. Grammar is checked for Russian text only.

Spelling errors are underlined with a red wavy line; grammar errors with a blue wavy line.

Errors in text within shapes or text-wrapped tables are not underlined.

Show or hide errors​

  1. On the Review tab, click the Spelling and grammar button.
  2. Enable or disable the Show spelling errors option.
  3. Enable or disable the Show grammar errors option.

Select dictionaries for spell checking​

  1. In the Spelling and grammar menu, select Dictionaries.
  2. Select 1–3 dictionaries.
  3. Click Save.

Correct or skip an error​

  1. Right-click the word with an error. A context menu will open.
  2. Select the appropriate correction or Ignore all.

Correct or skip multiple errors​

  1. On the sidebar, click the Spellchecker button. The Spellchecker pane will open.

  2. Set the cursor on the word with the error or use thePrevious andNext buttons.

  3. To correct the error, select the appropriate correction and click Replace or Replace all.

  4. To skip the error throughout the document, select Ignore all.

  5. Repeat these steps for the remaining errors.
