Insert page and section break

You can control the document structure using page breaks and section breaks.

A page break forces a new page to start at the current cursor position. Text after the break will start at the top of the next page.

A section break allows you to divide the document into logical parts (sections), each of which can be formatted independently. This is useful for:

  • Changing the page orientation (portrait or landscape) for a specific section.
  • Using different headers and footers (for example, Roman numerals for the introduction and Arabic numerals for the main part).
  • Setting different margins or paper sizes within a single document.
