Select content

You can select content using your mouse or keyboard.

Select an element or object​

  1. Move the cursor over the desired element or object.
  2. Press the left mouse button.

Select multiple content elements with the mouse​

  1. Move the cursor to the desired location.
  2. Hold down the left mouse button and drag the cursor over several content elements.

Select multiple elements in text using the keyboard​

  1. Place the cursor in the desired location in the text.
  2. Hold down the Shift key and press the arrow keys.

Select text​

  • To select text, hold down the left mouse button and drag the cursor over the desired fragment.
  • To quickly select a word, double-click on it.
  • To quickly select an entire paragraph, triple-click on it.

Select all content in the workspace or object​

  1. Place the cursor inside the workspace or object.
  2. Press Ctrl+A (Cmd+A).

You can also use the Select all tool on the Home tab, in the Edit group.
