Copy, cut, paste

You can copy, cut, and paste content via the clipboard.

Copy content​

  1. Select the desired content.
  2. Press Ctrl+C (Cmd+C).

The content will be copied to the clipboard.

You can also use the Copy tool in the context menu or on the Home tab, in the Edit group.

Cut content​

  1. Select the desired content.
  2. Press Ctrl+X (Cmd+X).

The content will be copied to the clipboard and deleted from the file.

You can also use the Cut tool in the context menu or on the Home tab, in the Edit group.

Paste content​

  1. Copy or cut the content.
  2. Place the cursor at the desired location.
  3. If you want to paste the content with its original formatting, press Ctrl+V (Cmd+V).
  4. If you want to paste text only, press Ctrl+Alt+V (Cmd+Option+V).

The content will be added to the file.

You can also use the Paste or Paste text only tool in the context menu or on the Home tab, in the Edit group.
