QR code generator

You can convert text or a link into a QR code that can be scanned with a smartphone.

Generate a QR code​

  1. Select the text or link that will be converted to a QR code.
  2. On the Extensions tab, click the QR code generator button. A panel will open with an input field and a live preview of the QR code.
  3. If necessary, change the text or link in the Text or link field. The QR code will update automatically.

The QR code will be inserted as an image at the current cursor position.

You can also:

  • Insert the QR code as an image at the current cursor position (not in the view-only mode).
  • Open or close the QR code panel by clicking the QR code generator button on the right sidebar.
  • Save the QR code as an image on your computer via the QR code context menu.
