Collapse, expand pivot table groups

You can control the level of detail in your data by hiding or showing the contents of grouped rows and columns in a pivot table.

Collapse or expand a group in a pivot table

1. Hover the cursor over the or button next to its header.
2. Click the button.

You can also use the Collapse or Expand tool in the context menu.

Collapse or expand all groups in a pivot table

1. Right-click on any cell within the pivot table.
2. In the context menu, hover over Collapse or Expand All.
3. Select the desired option from the submenu.
